After recently retiring, Jim and Lisa sold their home in Bullhead City, AZ; bought an RV and spend part of the year exploring the US. The rest of the year is spent in their “sticks and bricks” home in Guarare, Panama.

Jim spent 31 years in the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office.  He started as a volunteer Search and Rescue member and held virtually every position throughout his career.  After 18 years as Chief Deputy, Jim was appointed Mohave County Sheriff to fill the vacancy left when the former Sheriff retired mid-term.  Jim served two years and then retired on December 31, 2016.

Lisa spent 25 years working in the Casino Resort industry in Laughlin, NV, most recently for nine years as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the largest resort in town.  She then led the Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority for six years before accepting a position as Community Outreach for Golden Vertex Corp, the company that re-activated the Moss Gold/Silver mine located just outside of Bullhead City, AZ.  Lisa retired on December 29, 2018
