Seeing Galveston From a Harley

Once we got the Harley out of the trailer, we rode a ferry across the water to Bolivar Peninsula.  It was the second time we’d ridden a motorcycle on a water ferry…the first one was across Lake Mead while on a BSJ ride.  This experience was much easier….both going and coming back.  I took a video from the back of the Harley, but it didn’t turn out well, so here are just a few photos taken while on the ferry.

Of course, riding along Seawall Blvd was awesome with the wind in our hair!  We explored the West end of the island, with the incredibly beautiful “beach houses” most likely belonging to the “Rich and Famous”.  In fact, we enjoyed Galveston so much that we are planning to spend the month of December there.
